A Few Christmas Cards

It’s been a rough year this year motivation-wise. I just didn’t have any. I dug deep and made a few Christmas cards. Here are three that should have arrived by now. I will have six more cards but will have to wait until after Christmas.

The first two I made for Linda and Annette. I tried Jennifer McGuire’s Cling wrap technique. I used navy paper for these cards. It was a lot of fun and I highly recommend trying it. The background was made using Alcohol Inks. I use the backside of photo paper. I really like how it looks better than the front side. I used the dotted squares dies from Sizzix. The Manger dies are from Spellbinders.

Next up is Emily’s card. Sizzix Deer Knit embossing folder that I highlighted with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. I used the Hero Arts Layered Evergreen Tree stamp set.

May all of you have a wonderful Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

Thank you for visiting and leaving some love.

  1. I was going to ask how you did the technique on my card. It is so beautiful!

  2. 3 great cards, Myrna. Now that they’ve been mailed, we’ll have wait before we can have more cards on the piano to replace these.

  3. Myrna, I love my card. The background is gorgeous. So glad that you got motivated to make cards for Annette and me. it has a special place in our home. Thanks.
