Baby Card For Sydney

By Myrna Irwin

Maddy couldn’t wait to get into the world a month early so her new baby sister had to beat her and come 2 months early! So far, she’s holding her own! We’re soooo excited we are going to see her (and of course the rest of the family) very soon!

I just had a birthday and we went over to Red Rock. A large lake near here. We did a little hiking while there. I found a butterfly that was so willing to have its picture taken.

  1. Awesome card, Myrna! the coloring was its usual great and the glimmer mist, flowers and “love” charm were great additions. Like your photos, too, as well as the fish scale header

  2. ADORABLE!! Welcome little one is certainly just the right words. It looks as if she is wearing a watermelon preemie sleeper. The little bow always catches my eye and is that little shoes hanging from it?? Your layout is perfect and the sparkles remind me just how she makes all of our hearts sparkle and beam with pride. I am headed to the hospital now to see her as Nikki and Eric didn’t get up there until 7 last night. Mady keeps asking where her baby sister Sydney is-so confusing to her. Nikki’s first day of school is overwhelming and Rick said she is exhausted and has a half day to get through yet. I am so excited too that you will get so see our precious tiny bundle from heaven. See you all soon!

  3. I forgot to mention the spectacular monarch pictures-WOW!!! My students always couldn’t wait for me to bring the special caterpillar off the milkweed plant and then we’d watch it spin its cocoon and wait patiently for it to hatch into the beautiful butterfly. Such a miracle—just like Sydney is such a miracle to all of us. Can’t wait to see her today. She drank a tiny bit from a tiny bottle last night but that really wore her out. She gets most of her milk through a tube yet. It all teaches us ALL patience just like the patience involved in waiting for the monarch to hatch. Life is full of miracles if only we’d take the time to recognize them.

  4. Beautiful card, delicate and sweet colors. Thanks for the beautiful butterfly.
