Drew’s Birthday Card

I’m stuck on the fishing theme for Drew! He does love fishing so it’s easy to come up with a card for him. At least it is different than last years!! It’s a beautiful day here, the sun is shining and finally it’s not a hurricane out there!!!

We’ll have our usual birthday feast for him. (He’s home on Spring Break). It’s always meatballs, mashed potatoes and creamed corn. Instead of a birthday cake he wants chocolate Whoopie Pies!! I LOVE them too!!!!!! We had the real thing out in Maine last summer  when we went to visit Emily. LOVE THEM! LOVE THEM!!!

Tomorrow a couple of friends from Stamp Club are coming over for lunch so we can catch up on what everyone has been doing over the last few months! I can’t wait to see them again!

Some of you may know that we have joined the growing ranks of the unemployed. It totally turns your world upside down. You learn to live day by day or at times hour by hour. I probably will not be posting much in the future. I will continue to check out everyone’s blog but some days just not up to commenting. Keep up the beautiful work everyone!!

Thank you for stopping to visit with me! I always appreciate the love you leave.

We’ll all get through it together. There’s got to be something out there for dad and hopefully all goes well for me next week at Oakwood.

    Love always, Drew

  4. Great job of coloring! Also loved the frame you made for it, as well. The inside is pretty cute, as well, with your paper selection and birthday wishes. The card turned out great.
