Little Darlings Challenge 3

by Myrna

Where does the time go???? The weeks fly by and here we are in the middle of July already! Time for a new challenge at Little Darlings Challenges. This time the challenge is buttons, brads or eyelets. So grab those Little Darlings Stamps or other companies stamps and get to work ladies! You have from July 13th-26th.

If you want to refresh your memory on all the Sneak Peeks and New Release images that the Design Team has done you can go to the Love To Stamp store blog.

Since I have a son I tend to go for the boy images. 🙂 I haven’t done Nice to Meet You  yet. So he was my perfect choice for today’s challenge. You’re in luck he’s in the store.

  1. Awesome card:) Absolutely love the coloring and designing of this card;) Coloring with copics is not easy….but it sure is fun!!! Especially when you don’t screw up LOL!!!!

  2. Great job, Myrna! Your coloring was outstanding, as usual. Those rocks, rock. 😉 The paper selections were well coordinated, as well, and tied in with the butterfly theme of the image. I liked the way you used the buttons and the bow came off just right for the card.

He is so cute! I love the paper you used too. One of these days I’m going to learn how to color!

  4. Great card. Just the right amount of buttons, bows and embellishments so it is not to “girly”. Now I want to see it IRL next month at club.

  5. What a beautiful card and your butterfly theme couldn’t be more perfect. I keep thinking how much mom would have cherished this card. Those rusty, green, orange, red color tones really set the stage for the monarch butterfly. The black hinges, beautiful rusty colored bow, and the buttons really add the absolute perfect finishing touches to your card!! LOVE IT!! Your coloring is done with perfection and of course that is no surprise to me. It sounds as if Andrew has developed more of an appreciation for your coloring with copics after he tried using them. Those fluffy clouds floating in the background sure make your card so real! After I stared at them long enough, I could feel my body swaying as if I were really outside on a summer day enjoying the beauties of God’s creation. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey, what a feeling! Couldn’t get much better than that!!

  6. That’s a beautifull card Myrna.

    Hugs Monique
